There was a time when I'd eat batches and batches of them during Christmas and gain about 10 pounds over the holidays. Your mince pies look perfect! And I agree on developing a ear for Shakespeare because the first few times we did a bunch of his plays, I was like, "What?" :) I love mince pies! I appreciate English Lit, but I barely, and I mean barely passed that class. I should give it a good read now, as an adult, I don't know why I never gravitated toward English Lit, but I have a true appreciation for those who do.
