beautiful post!
i always enjoy such well written and informative posts.
as a small note “schnecken” (snails) in austria and germany generally refer to the cinnamon and raisin danish pastry swirls.
i can taste the connection.

Yum, nothing like a good snickerdoodle treat! Interesting read about snickerdoodle being the nephew of Yankee Doodle, very cool!
