Tiramisu literally means “pick me up”. With the amount of espresso in this recipe you will surely experience a little extra energy. This dessert is perfect for those who would love a treat, but not something overly sweet. It has a wonderful balance of light, fluffy, creamy decadence with a hint of sweetness and the bold flavor of the espresso enhanced by the Marsala and dark rum. Tiramisu Ingredients 4 tbs sugar ½ cup water 4 egg yolks 3 tbs sweet Marsala wine 4 ounces cream cheese 6 ounces mascarpone cheese 8 ounces heavy whipping cream, whipped 2 cups espresso or strong coffee 1 ounce dark rum 2 tbs sugar 24 lady fingers (See recipe below) 2 tbs powdered sweetened cocoa mix Directions 1.
