This is TOO cute… as someone who is morphing her closet into all black, white, grey & denim, I am professing that if I don’t win, surely I must go out and buy this. Love it!

So, here’s my technical entry stuff:

When I’m headed out for a lunch-nic with my kids I pack water, sparkling water, juice boxes, snack size cheese, nuts, dried fruit, fresh fruit, kind bars, crackers & pbjs. We’re a snacky family, rather than a meal bunch.

I like you on FB & have tweeted. Done.

      Our sincere apologies.

I generally pack a sandwich of some sort, but I try to spice them up (no pb&j for me) , some fruit, a veggie, and of course some good desserts. Usually chocolate chip cookies since they are one of my all time favorites, and I always seem to have some on my counter.

    • September 10, 2011 at 9:29 am //

      Thank you Clarkie!

  • September 8, 2011 at 10:59 am //

Seems a lot of folks love you, your site and the bag! We did fine during the hurricane… the boys and I escaped to Clinton, Doug stayed and said it was good that we left, very noisy, very wet, never-ending.
Ok- here is what I pack for lunch…. leftovers and coffee. Or fruit and cottage cheese and coffee or a bit of turkey rolled up in cheese and coffee. Only a small theme there.

    • September 8, 2011 at 11:09 am //

Thanks Jill! I’m a leftover gal, too!

  • September 8, 2011 at 1:09 pm //

  • September 8, 2011 at 6:10 pm //

Lunch is rather boring, it consists of a Lean Cuisine and vegetable of some sort, usually green beans or a salad. Really need to jazz it up…

    • September 8, 2011 at 7:34 pm //

Thank you for stopping by, Angela! If you like your lunch then it isn’t boring, but if not there are a lot of easy ways to make your lunch interesting.

hey i think soups, vegetable lunch dishes, chicken reicpes type of food is healthy . i love this recipe its delicious try it:its called Stovetop Grilled Cheese Sandwich and heres the recipe this is a all-time favorite can be made on the stovetop. A nonstick skillet is all you need to heat up yummy grilled cheese sandwiches for a quick and easy snack or light lunch. Ingredients2 tablespoons butter, divided2 slices bread2 slices processed American cheeseCooking InstructionsHeat a small skillet to medium high heat. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of both bread slices; place one slice bread, buttered-side-down, in hot skillet. Immediately place both cheese slices on bread and cover with second bread slice, butter-side-up. When first side is browned, turn over and brown other side. Remove from heat and let cool 2 to 3 minutes before serving.and in others there is my favorite salad try this too if you want to its called:Corn Chip Salad and here is the recipe Ingredients1 pound ground beef1 large head lettuce, chopped1-1/2 cups diced tomatoes1 large onion, diced1-1/2 cups diced sharp Cheddar cheese1/2 cup diced Monterey Jack cheese2 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans, drained8 ounces thousand island salad dressing1 (16 ounce) package corn chipsCooking InstructionsIn a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until evenly browned. Drain fat and set aside to cool.In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, Cheddar cheese, Jack cheese and kidney beans. Cover and chill for at least an hour.Right before serving, add the dressing and corn chips and toss until evenly coated. Corn chips stand in as the crunchy croutons in this taco salad that tosses together ground beef, beans, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese in a thousand island vinaigrette for a colorful crowd pleaser.
